Won't be Gone Long

I lost it when you said goodbye

you lied when you said you were

here to stay and you proved that

today

 

I know it is pointless to

hope on your return, this

isn't the first time and I

know I will get along fine

 

 

I sing songs to ease the pain

it is the only way for me to

keep sane

 

I wonder where you've been

it's been awhile, I know I need

to get over you because you were

never true

 

I lost it when you said goodbye

but life moves on, just got to

keep singing my songs and if you

love me you  won't be gone long
