walk on by, a part of me left

don't know if I will ever get

it back

 

The past has been haunting

me, lurking ever closer in my

future and don't know if I will

ever get on by

 

My heart has been searching

for you, never felt the way I

do and I don't know if it's

because I need you

 

I know I hurt you but without

you here I'm hurting too, if

only you knew how much I need

you, I don't know what to do

 

Never meant to make you cry

will I ever get to tell you how

much I love you, how better

I am with you near, how you

take away all my fear

I could almost feed off of- I mean feel your grief and regret flowing through with your words. There is also that faint rhyme scheme that keeps me on my feet (or would a better term be eyes?) for searching for hidden clues; and being ready to pursue the concepts of them.
