I buried my head into Jacob's chest. I wasn't looking forward to this party Alice had planned. Jake kissed my hair and pulled me tighter against him. “You should get ready now.” he breathed. I sighed walking into my closet. I immediatly noticed the blue coctail dress Alice had bought for the party and ignored it. I was glad that Alice couldn't see the future if it involved me. I reached for my blue tank top and some jeans. I was going to Carlisle's house not a 5 star resteraunt. I walked out immediatly after changing and Jake smiled when he saw me. “You're exactly like your mother.” I smiled a little I was like my mother in more than one way. “Shall we.” Jake offered me his arm. “We shall.” I replied accepting it.

“Nessie what are you wearing!” Alice exclaimed when I walked in. Everyone giggled and smiled. “Uhm clothes.” I said avoiding her narrowing eyes. “Funny.” she spat. “Happy birthday.” Esmee said trying to ease the akwardness. The rest of the night was a blur. I was unusally tired and everyone seemed to notice. My dad was tense as was my mom and I knew they had figured out what was going on with Jake and I. I looked at him remebering he could read my mind and he just nodded.

Jake pulled me outside and seemed nervous. “Whats wrong?” I asked. Before I knew it he was down on one knee with a ring in his hand. Oh God. “Will you marry me Renesmee Carlie Cullen?” I couldn't answer my throat was dry. I led him to a big rock and sat down on it. “Jake I love you...but this is too soon. We just started dating today.” I said refusing to look at him. “It's okay Nessie, I should have waited.” I kissed him lightley on the lips hoping he really understand. He groaned “Sam wants me back at the reservation.” I kissed him again harder this time and whispered “Go.” With that he was gone.

I went back into the house and everyone was in a better mood. “Did you just listen to my private conversation?” I asked. “You know it, good choice.” Emmett was practically laughing.
