CoffeeA Poem by Kleio13
It`a a mantis birthday
only she has no antennas to see my life`s tale. To truly merit my mercy Yet i send every pawn a message And everyone seems to get aroused. I think my monumental mistake, was being ever-red and naked They peg at my pictures, like stone maggots of an archaic artist bookshelf covered in coffee stains yet i send every pawn a wet poem claiming i choose my comforts ha. What a liar am I ? Stricken. Mantis calls me out, yet i haven`t a tongue. One more cigarette no more saliva at this point. The empty cups abruptly fall to the floor joining the camel crush love the shatter becomes a dead ship "no paper" I`ll use the glass. " no lover" who wants their past? You clever devil of time and space will never have my dream. I shall do what most women do : put on more make-up and drill the powerful man`s heart in two but will he be the one to offer me coffee? © 2015 Kleio13Author's Note
