Regretful sorrow

I regretting a decision i made but cant change it or else they will probably hate me

Regret is remorse most painful sorrow
Never to be taken back
Or given away
Covering your heart and soul eating at it
Till all thats left is a empty pit
It's all to late
Blinded by the taste of uncertainty
Did i make my choice in haste
The pain you feel now
Iall,could have been avioded
In a hole of regret i shall wait
Or will you give me a ladder

Knowing thats it was my doing long ago
Before the hole was dug
There was nothing but content
Can you live with the memories we lost
By my un heartfelt decision
My fear getting the best of me
Thinking nothing could be worse
How wrong i turned out to be
For nothing could be worse than regret
What i feel now
Can you forgive what i have done and taken away
I shall never know
For never will i ask for the ladder
