The QuietA Poem by KarliA Bit darker than most of my poetryThe Quiet, like a thief in the night, pain a sword through the hearts of many. The Quiet, mighty as the rolling sea, death a dark demon escaping from the Devil's grasp.
The Quiet, the noise as the heart is shattered like fine glass, Today, the silence shall be broken like a heart. As he leaves you alone in the cold of the night, The Quiet overcomes you, sheltering your screams from ear shot.
The Quiet, a city at rest in the black of the night, this night is silent as pain shooting through your veins. As you're left without that soul, left to fend for yourself, The Quiet is reborn, hurt like a punch to the heart.
The Quiet is not soft, nor gentle, Pain is quiet, like a baseball bat to your back. Pain is silent, a nightmare hiding in your mind. The Quiet, amber embraces nowhere to seek.
The Quiet, like a thief in the night, pain a sword through the hearts of many. The Quiet, mighty as the rolling sea, death a dark demon escaping from the Devil's grasp.
