Two Souls

Two Souls

A Poem by Karli
"

About my best friend in the whole world, whom I trust with everything.

"

The tears fall fast, I have no one to turn to.

A message from you pops onto my screen.

I immediately feel better.

We speak of everything.

You've told me your darkest secrets,

I've told you mine.

We know each other's hopes and dreams.

You're in love right now,

I'm so happy for you.

If he breaks your heart,

I'll make him...not be able to have children.

We're bubbly,

we laugh.

Our inside jokes are insane.

You've seen me at my best,

I've seen you at our highest moments,

We wept together,

as we hit rock bottom.

Without you, I'd still be there.

You helped me out of that deep well,

full of sorrow and pain.

We dance around,

our friendship as joyous as a garden.

Nothing will ever separate us.

Our souls are conjoined,

we'll never part.

Author's Note

Karli
So, this is for my best friend. She's the most amazing person. I trust her more than anyone. I don't really mind if this piece isn't very good, I'm just worrying about expressing the message. :)

Wow, that was really, really good. I have a bestfriend I've known for ten years now. We've never argued - we like each other's company. I'm glad I have her as my bestfriend. Just by reading this poem it shows quite distinctly how much you care and adore your bestfriend. Great work
