Young Girl, Just Hold Tight.

Young Girl, Just Hold Tight.

A Story by Karli
"

basically describing 7th grade...which was absolute HELL. thank God that year is past me....

"

Have you ever felt as though no one else exists?

Ever felt your whole world tumbling all around?

What about feeling unloved, and dark.

Your heart turns to a huge block of ice, because the warmth of others no longer envelopes it.

No hope.

No love.

Life's roaring at you like a crashing sea.

Why do they hurt me?

What did I do wrong?

I'm the worst person in the world.

Ugly, fat.

Disgusting, stupid.

Easy target.

We believe what others say way too often.

You turn into a different person.

No one to turn to.

Nothing in your life worth living for.

Experiencing what Hell truly is.

Laying low, in fear others will see you.

Wearing huge sweatshirts to shield yourself.

But wait.

The air turns warmer.

The sun rises, letting you know the time is near.

Now, the time is here.

Summer is rescuing you.

You're finally free.

You find your Love.

Your passion.

Your Hope.

Your Faith.

Life does a 180.

Your block-of-ice heart returns to a cozy fire.

You're stronger.

No one can touch you.

Never believe it's the end for you.

Have a little faith in yourself.

Now, this one, I could care less if it's not good. It's just feelings that have come creeping up on me lately.

This is good. It reminds me of my own similarily hellish middle school experience. Constant backstabbing and cruel whispers eventually made me feel... well unloved, like you put it. But those years are behind us, and "no one can touch us."
Great expression of common feelings!

Oh my I love this. Perfectly shows how weak people become when they fall for something or someone, that thing or person leaves, and then they feel a void in their lives. They isolate themselves into a corner and build walls there, so that even those who want to help can't come in. That is until they realize that they do mean something, that they can stand alone, and find their worth again. A true story of redemption.
