I Will Preach.

Now, I was just taking to my homophobic priest a while back and I think I taught him something very valuable.

Two men from audience (in church)

"So, um, what are your thoughts on gays?"

"I believe gays are bad. See, gay marriage should not be legal because God said it was sin and because they do not have children. I have read the Bible, and God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve."

"Amen!"

A few men and women from the church rows bowed their heads in shame- almost.

"Wait, god also didn't create judgmental Adam and homophobic Steve! So, what are you to say as a follower of God?"

People perk up in their seats.

"I am to say it is not normal, church is over. Go in love to serve the lord. Amen."

"Amen."

"Wait! What if God did create Adam and Steve? Gay would be considered "normal'' and straights would fight for their sexuality!"

"Go home, in peace to serve our Lord."

At this point, some homopobes walked straight out, while others stayed.

"Wha- gays are adopting children abandoned from straight people! Gays don't reproduce so they don't overpopulate Earth! They adopt kittens from the pound for God's sake! I will not go home! Oh- I have read the Bible too, and you know what else in "sin"? Divorce. You are divorced!" 

"... Well-..."

I walked straight outta that church sat outside on the fountain. 

A young woman ran to me and thanked me for doing that. She said she has wanted to say that for so long and keep doing what I'm doing.

I will. Am. Did.
