Like a Ghost

Like a Ghost

A Poem by Kittyskittles
"

Love conquers all but to some it keeps them alive.

"
Looking in the mirror, I see but a hollow shell
My skin is but bones as my lips are a ghost
The one I loved and held dear has left this world through my tears
I can't tell you how much pain I feel
But the hole in my heart is there
Every night when you are not by my side
I feel like there is a thorn that cuts through me all night
You were life itself to me
Oh dear you were my heart beat
Till one night I got a call
That's when not only one heart stopped, but two
I became a ghost without you

This is a very sad story, and you do a great job of telling it. Time will dull sadness, storm clouds will dissipate, and the sun will shine again--they always do.

The sun does come after the storm but thank you so much for the review! It means a lot
