How Could You

How Could You

A Poem by ~Death Is The Key~

You left me hanging,

when i needed you the most you weren't there,

you left,

no good byes,

not a single word,

or warning,

you turned your back on me,

on your friends and ran,

you ran like a scared puppy from a storm,

you couldn't face me right on,

so you took the easy way out,

how could you,

you made me cry for months,

just for me to find out that you hated me,

i was so mad,

so days i wouldn't talk,

other days i felt like crying and screaming,

how could you do this to me,

to your friend,

to all your friends,

we were a team,

no one could hurt us,

but instead you turn on us,

stab us in the back,

then you want forgivness,

from me,

no not after the pain you caused,

not after all those tears,

just leave,

and never come back.

wow. I liked this poem. Liked the voice used and the personality. I've felt this way at times. Thanks for writing this.
