I can remember
Not so long ago When I stood there In my own sorrow That sweet synthetic scent That sugary gloss Staining my withered lips And I was there My lids a midnight color An angry black eye-shadow Botched on heavily Like an accursed disease I was meek and careless I was a freshmen That feeling-- oh That beautiful feeling At first I was in love I was infatuated I was happy But then I was open Open to getting hurt Soon I was petrified Thrown off balance By the awful events That bad luck bestowed upon me An instant hysteria That was almost unbearable And by far unnerving Then I remember I was torn apart I felt crushed By the doings of others With vicious tears Staining my flushed cheeks Things couldn't have been worse From sadness came scorn An angry beast Festering within me Only when it exploded from me Did I lose my sense of well-being Every feeling that was crushed Turned to a morbid sense of hate In the end I fell numb And there I stood My raccoon eyes widened My mouth agape My body stiffened My lips caked with Lancme Paris gloss And it's flavor: Miss Rose 56 © 2008 *^*my*beautiful*zelda*love*^*Author's Note
