I don't get why he has to be a boy out fishing for love...

Little boys, little lies
Wanna play, but don't know why
This little boy wants something
He carries his heart on his sleeve

What he wants is a girl
But they're hard for him to find
All he wants is a girl
Smart, pretty, and kind

He's constantly looking
For someone to love
Asking for dates
And praying to heaven above

Look for the girl
With the kind eyes
Some girls he'll love
Some he'll despise

But it is all in
Finding a mate
Some want to love
Some want to hate

He fishes for dreams
In his lake of sorrows
Wants a girl
Hopes he'll find her tomorrow

Sadness clouds his eyes
So he can't tell what he really sees
Girls arn't so easiy to find
But he can't stop searching around

Silly boy, don't waste your time
You're still so young, still so fine

Just you wait a while; you'll see

Don't let girls dominate your mind

It's not time for you yet
Just wait your turn, it will come
I don't get why you need to be
A boy out fishing for love.

A poem about my friend who's ALWAYS asking girls out and just has a freakin DIRE NEED for a girlfriend...
it's sad, I'm afraid.... I love him to peices, but still, c'mon now.
