I Have a Crush on You!

A Stage Play by *^*my*beautiful*zelda*love*^*
"

I think this ACTUALLY qualifies as a stage play 0.0 I think I'm going insane...

"
Description: (this is in a story I made-- yes, I'm in it, I don't care if you whine and complain about me using "self-insertion"; it's my story and I can include myself If I want, so get over it.) Link finds out I like him, but since the age difference is too great and he already has a girlfriend, we can't really be anything more than good friends. Jack is jealous, as I am already supposed to be best friends with him. I break out in song for some reason, and here it is!

Jack noticed I was acting a bit different. I seemed to be ignoring him and sort of leaning towards Link. Why was this?
"Hey, twit, what you doin?" Link asked me as I ran into the lounge.
"Sitting!" I sat in his lap.
Juno stared at us, "Hey Princess, Link is having an affair with Dianne."
"He's not having an affair you dunce! Dianne and Link are just pals!"
"What??" Jack ran in. Replacing me?? I'm Dianne's pal, not some sword-swinging b*****d!
"Yeah, I mean, it's not like we're in love or anything!" I said.
"Liar."
"Am not!!"
"Are too."
"NO I'M NOT!!!!!"
I scared Juno with my voice and he backed down, "Fine! Whatever...."

After that, Juno and everyone except Me, Link and Jack left the room. Finally, Jack walked up to the couch, "Is it true, are you guys really in love?"
I frowned, "NO!!"
"Relax, man; it's not like she was in love with you anyway!" Link added.
"Yeah! You just take a chill-pill." I said.
Jack's eye twitched, "Ok, that's it; get out of his lap!!"
"Why?"
"Because!"
"Because why??"
"Because I--" He stopped there.
I stood up, "*gasp* You're jealous!"
"No I'm not--"
"Yes you are!!"
"No I'm not!!"
"Yes you are!!"
"No I'm-- OK FINE GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT???"
"No..." I walked over and in front of them both, "But do you wanna know why we're acting this way?"
"Yeah, tell me, Dianne." Jack waited.
"Ok, I have a strange feeling that this is leading into a song...." Link heard piano.
"Because, guys"---

(Me) I have a crush on you
(Link) You do?
(Me) It sounds silly, but it's true!
Don't ask me why--
(Link) Why?
(Me) I'll tell a lie
(Link) Fine!
(Me) But you don't know the rest of it--

(Jack) You have a crush on Link?
(Me) I do!
(Jack) That's really stupid, don't ya think?
(Me) Not really
(Jack) What do you see in him?
This guy is really dim--
(Link) are you calling me stupid?
(Jack) yes!

(Me) Hey you guys
I'll explain more
That is what the game portal's for-- *I run into Game Examination room with Jack and Link following*
(Link) Where are you going?
(Jack) No, this cannot be!
(Link) I think you're getting ahead of yourself--
(Jack) Woman, you're crazy!

*I run into The Legend of Zelda, Jack and Link follow me and notice a bunch of wolves and skullchilds crowding around me*
(Me) Crazy?
I have a crush on you
(Monsters) she has a crush on you
(Me) it's absurd! But it's true!!
If I tell you why
(Monsters) She'll do it as a lie
(Me) It's really not that easy!

(Jack) Why him, but not me?
(Link) Because, She thinks I'm sexy!
(Jack) No! You're a wisecracking fool--
(Link) It seems like you're her tool!
(Jack) Shut up! You're not better!
(Link) But I can sing--

Dianne has a crush on me
(Monsters) Dianne has a crush on you
(Link) It's pretty stupid, but you see...
I find it convenient
She's the owner of Game Net.
And that's good enough for me!

(Jack) Aw you're very good, but watch me--

Dianne has a crush on you
(Link) Show off...
(Jack) It sound's repulsive-- But it's true!
She does a lot of things
This is by far the most disgusting--
(Me) Hey! He is really cute!

Hey you guys
Quit fighting!
Come on and sing!
(Monsters) sing!
(Me) Sing!
(Monsters) Aaaahhhhhhhh

(Me) I have a crush on you!
(Monsters) She has a crush on--
(Me) It sounds dumb, but it's truuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuue
Jack, you're not a tool
*Jack looks up*
Link is from Hyrule
*Link looks up*
*I walk up to them*
... WHICH IS BETTER THAN FORGET-ME-NOT VILLAGE!!!
(Link) Oh burn!!

(Jack) What? So he's better....
(Link) Yes, I'm better....
(Me) Than aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllll
Ooooooooooooooooffffffffff
*Inhale* Yooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooouuuuuuu
*Wolves howl and Skullchilds let off sparklers and fireworks*
*I come up* There's the Triforce on his left hand too!
*Link shoots a smart smirk at Jack and nods*

Author's Note

*^*my*beautiful*zelda*love*^*
This is a random stageplay song I came up with last summer when I was extremely bored and, well, I woke up with the idea one morning.

Link: character from The Legend of Zelda
Jack: Character from Harvest Moon
Juno: Character from Jet Force Gemini
Princess: Princess Zelda! :D (Links girlfriend)
Skullchilds: skeletons with dog-like skulls and glowing red eyes that pop up in Hyrule Field at night when you play The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time as a kid. (I call them Skellyguys! :D)
Wolves: You'd have to be an idiot to not know what that is...
Game Network: The video game company Jack, Link, Juno and all those characters are employed.

WOW! How did a Zelda Stage Play so cute go so unreviewed! You even put a song in it! First off. I'm an old school Zelda fan. Go you. Multi-casting from different games to fight for your love is a great analogy all gamers feel for there favorite games and which one to play or replay for that matter. The Play is wonderfully set with the right amount of descriptions to get the general stage idea. I really enjoyed the song at the end although I was saddened that there wasn't a recommended background song but found that a classic Minuet of Forest on repeat sets a good pace for the song. The Skullchilds background singing is so classic and I have to say over all this play has really made my day a little better to watch in my mind. I'm very appreciative of your fan work here and look forward to maybe a second part to this wonderful unfolding drama. Over all a wonderful play that I have to give marks to. May the Triforce always lay in Link's hands. ^_^
