You may Kill me Now

You may Kill me Now

A Poem by *^*my*beautiful*zelda*love*^*
"

I wrote this in my sketch pad the night before I posted it here, so yea. I'm just... not very happy... it's hard to explain.... I mean, I dont ACTUALLY want to be killed. As a matter of fact, I value life dearly.

"

The moon shines bright
Against the stone-cold sky
My heart clenches tight
When I look you in the eye

You may kill me now

If I died today
I'd lose that spitting image
Either a smirk or a smile would lay
In my mind, abide your discribtion

You may kill me now

My soul has faded away
Laying cold and lifeless
Over the winding sway
Of a timeless stream of silence

You may kill me now

My heart has been slashed by thousands
Every bit of hope's let me down
It feels like the slaps of many hands
When you flash me that frown

You have killed me now....

That was pretty deep. I can tell that it's a very personal poem. Nice job! I look forward to reading more of your work!
