Little Girl

Little Girl

A Poem by Kelly Catherine.

Little Girl

Little girl with the bows in her hair

Big brown eyes and a wicked stare

She plays with her dollies like a good girl should

But she cant escape from her doll house home

Though she wishes that she could

The little girl sits and sips her tea

Holding the teddy bear on top of her knees

Looking out the balcony window

Still wishing to be free

Little girl with the bows in her hair

Big brown eyes and a wicked stare

She sits inside her doll house home

Big enough for the little girl plus three

A teddy bear, a teacup, andd a hopeless dream.
