Exhaustion

Exhaustion

A Poem by BrokenAngelicHeart

She would shut her eyes for that mere seconds, afraid to fall asleep.

In her dreams there were the happiest times, and yet, the most frightening scenes.

She would shut her eyes for mere minutes.

But snapping them open right after, not wanting to fall asleep while waiting.

It was the happy time she had, and yet life was the harshest here.

She's exhausted but she won't give in.

Not just yet...

Just for...

Just for...
