Dark Night's Occurrence

It was a calm warm night....until a sudden darkness took over the north side of the busy town. With no foretold warning whatsoever over the strange disturbance, a heavy dark miasma enveloped the area. Those who couldn't withstand the heavy atmosphere fell the the ground, like most weak humans did. Pressed down onto the gravel by the darkness, they struggled to keep conscious, something that was becoming harder and harder to do so within the minutes. And as each of them slowly slipped into their own set of darkness, the last thing they heard was a terrifying scream, the last thing they saw was a shadowy figure of a lady, stained with blood and dark energy.

Those who remained awake were much less fortunate, for they witnessed for themselves, the horror of the being. At that moment, her dark hair straddled a man, the malicious grin upon her face a terrible sight indeed. Her lips tore across her cheeks, the fangs revealed deadly sharp. Then...she no longer looked humane at all. Its eyes were nothing but but pure emptiness, as if looking through an empty skull. Yet perhaps, to these humans, its appearance was nothing in comparison to the actions it was doing.

At that moment? The being had its arm in a man, rummaging about as if the body was but a haversack. Then it tore the appendage out from his torso, bringing with that strange arm of it, the innards of the man. Laughing manically, it draped the organs over a woman that shrieked by the side, the darkness rolling off in waves from it. Then placing its bloody arm by its cheek, the being took on a much more humane and normal looking form....and disappeared through the wall right as a kitchen knife came zooming through the door of a restaurant, making a clean slice through the woman's neck.

Thud. Her head rolled down the street and as if by magic....everyone else lost consciousness. When the police arrived, naturally they found no explanation for the occurrence.
