A touch of garnish, a sprinkle of salt,

A little bit of flavour, thrown in with my thoughts.

A taste of sweetness, along with my love,

A taste of saltiness, that comes with the tears.

A taste of spice, along with the excitement,

A taste of bitterness, that comes with loss.

A taste of the strangest concoction, a broken heart.
