To Run

To Run

A Poem by Kitten
"

I have no idea what I was thinking but I'm going to post it real fast before I have a chance to change my mind. [laughs] Wrote this a while ago and revised it a little.

"

Paint it in blood frame it on the wall

As love turns to ash I watch you fall

Repenting for sins I never knew were mine

Silence is screaming for an innocent crime

Faces are shadowed by death and sorrow

Never again can we look for tomorrow

Red strings of fate strangle as they bind

Broken piece of glass as you’re left behind

Locking the door on what the past once was

Never look back for that’s what fate does

True love in this world does not exist

Devotion and friendship are just a myth

It won’t matter what you did or what you have done

The only thing left for you is to run

I'm stunned and amazed, this is wonderful!
Your style is dark and depressing, yet beautiful
The imagery makes the reader feel every word so intense!
Also you seem to be a fighter for structure and rhyme.. I like that and you did very well on this
I don't see any flaws
