TeneseeA Poem by KitLightningA poem about/for my partner, she's from Tenesee and had a difficult childhood growing up in the smokey mountains with all the bears. I'm a blad sailor from the UK with a face like the moon.
An American aurora,
A sunshine seraphine, A belle on on broken buoy, All angelic alliterations. I'm drawn like water across an Ocean, An outlandish Atlantic lunatic, A moon of a man, A man on the moon without you, Your face across mine eclipses all, All pleasing similes. Let's lay bare, Nude for a season, You were given garbage too, Tomorrow will taste good as two, All hopefully homophones. A battered wooden spoon, Your tongue somehow find me fine, Lick me clean sweet dream, All haiku is you. © 2024 KitLightningAuthor's Note
