Life

Okay so this is just some random short poem about life I did for one of my classes. Not really anything special but please enjoy!!!

 

Life:

Life is like a fragile rose,

It tries to survive all the blows,

Trying to move on through the tides,

Trying to pick the right side,

Moving through on and on,

Trying not to be someone else’s pawn,

Trying to make its own way,

Trying not to be led astray,

Trying to grow and thrive,

Trying to stand up and survive,

Trying to live and grow,

Trying not to be knocked below,

Fighting to be noticed and to be heard,

 Believing that living is not absurd.

I pretty much liked it.
Just the part of comparing it to a fragile rose.. i don't think life is like a f*****g fragile rose at all. life's pretty hard core if you ask me. it's more like sand. like you get rolled around and swept up in the ocean. tossed around, but you manage to survive. ha i guess the sand thing was kind of lame too. maybe there is no perfect comparison to life.
