A Poem by Kirsty Woodward

it is being sat in a bar

wearing no bra

drinking beer

writing poetry

it is holding your soul mates in the palm of your hand

it is coming home drunk

it is smelling roses

it is you, and the knife in my belly.

I can say we got another Iris Murdoch at our time. Well done.

Yes I really like it your style. Very straight and clear. And also very creative.
the one that doesn't even produce a cut---it is being immune to the pain...it is not even knowing we are drunk...but damn those roses smell good.
