Kicking Up Leaves

I want to get home 

so I can read poetry and swing my feet to the beat of the words 

then maybe this headache will go away

and I can learn to love myself once again.

i like the double meaning of leaves...or actually triple meaning here...the leaves as in pages of a book of poetry, the leaves outside...and also the leaving of the headache,

poetry is a good salve...
