Bits, Bobs And Britain

Bits, Bobs And Britain

A Poem by Kirsty Woodward

golden gates

surround creativity

silver soldiers

marching

moving in on open minds

words used as weapons

shots fired

left

right

and centre

souls being sold

to the general

in white

spilled blood

or red wine

the stars won’t weep for us

but we will weep for the stars.
