Music On RepeatA Poem by Kirsty Woodwardher ghost of twenty two years buried in the brick the walls creak heavy the floor can smell the fresh air on its way through the window someone is going to open the window soon. paper cuts unloved books meaningless f***s air out the nightmares don’t forget or they’ll haunt you too. music on repeat music on repeat she won’t see you again but she’ll kiss you goodnight and a piece of her heart remains hidden in the wardrobe the spiders have packed their bags the cobwebs will disappear from the corners of the ceiling someone is going to dust those cobwebs away soon
