For EleanorA Poem by Kirsty HignettA poem for the girl who has stolen my heart.
You came into my life
and without the when or why- you took away my strife. You made me feel I could fly. I didn't intend to fall for you. I was simply trying to forget that my heart, damaged, felt so blue from mistake after error and regret. I cannot put it into wording, how much you mean to me and how every day I'm filled with yearning for a message a day- to fill me with glee. My darling girl to me this is new, an intense and incredible thing. I know without doubt that I love you so much that I want to sing. You came into my life, Hun, and your love fills me with hope. You, who shines as bright as the sun- I love you. Love, your dope. © 2020 Kirsty HignettAuthor's Note
