ChoicesA Poem by Kirsty HignettThis is a poem inspired by choices.. in particular to do with my own choices that I have to make.Choices
Choices are difficult to make, Each path has its highs and lows. What you choose is always a mistake Which frankly, I think blows.
Imagine it this way, you love two songs. One is normal, the other, forbidden fruit. You can only pick one that will last lifelong, Your liking to the other must remain mute.
To be put another way, there are two roads, one provides something new to see. The other, deceit will soon corrode, yet both provide security.
Choices are difficult to make, each path has its ups and downs. I really don't want to mistake, a path of smiles for frowns. © 2013 Kirsty HignettAuthor's Note
