Farce.A Poem by Kiri JIf there’s nothing you want from me Please Don’t hear me out. I’ll only continue to lather you Slather you Plaster you In deadly cement filled with a story Liquid malice Arsenic …rolls off the tongue with an elegance An eloquence… It’s a story About this disaster of mine This farce That is You. Soul-digger wench only wanted you for you. Forgive me, what a selfish thing I’ve done. Hole-digger assuming the role of a Gravedigger of my own final resting place. Gold-digger chasing the end of the rainbow. There’s nothing here. A wide expanse of concrete plains Graffiti covers the ground, promoting your name. I don’t belong here. If there’s nothing you want from me. © 2008 Kiri JAuthor's Note
