WalkAway

WalkAway

A Poem by Kira Lorraine Uman

I Offered you my hand

You walked away

I asked you why

You had nothing to say

I gave you so much

but it was never enough

You said you loved me

but that was a lie

When I think of you with her

it makes me want to cry

We tried to make it work

but it was never right

everyday was a constant fight

I loved you so much

it hurt me inside

When I watched you walkaway

Without saying goodbye
