Blood

Blood

A Poem by Kira Lorraine Uman

When it rains down blood in the street

Hell will come up and swallow me

And you’ll say to yourself how can this be?

All this pain and suffering is because of me.

As you toss and turn in the night

And you cannot sleep because of the fight

All you can do is think of you

No one else matters at all

Now help wont come when you call

It’s all your fault (2x’s)

The blood changes colors

Then you die say good bye

To your friends as they cry

And you wonder in your mind who?

Then you come to realize it is you.

Time passes by and by

You are forgotten in their lives

Life goes on and on

Right on through the dawn

And you think to yourself…….

When the blood changes colors

You will die say good bye

To your friends so they cry

And you wonder in your mind who?

Then you come to realize it is only you.
