All i want

All i want is to find love

everynight i pray to the gods

that i will find someone who will not

let my past get in the way of a possible future

all i want is someone to hold

to love him with all my heart

all i want is someone bold

someone who expresses his feelings

all i want is a relationship not like the others

i dont want to feel alone

all i want is to find love

and to be loved and to love that person

all i want is someone to call my own

Well I think most of us that are started writing during their highschool years or even earlier. Most people start out writing love poems, you had other issues to tackle too. In my opinion writing is a good way of dealing with any situation. It probably helped you to overcome your situation and made you into the adult you are now!
