Gender dysphoria

Gender dysphoria

A Poem by Emari
"

For those who face this pain

"
I stare into the mirror
I see who I am forced to be
And the pain comes back
I am not in the correct body
I am not a female
Yet I am not a male
The picture forced on me
By the society of people
Who some are just plain evil
The body I wish to heal
The body I wish to change
Is being forced to stay the same
The pain I feel is overbearing
It hurts.
I
Take
The knife
And cut through
The pain that is within me
But it seems to return. I do it over
And over and over and over until the blood
Fills my arms, covering my skin and I let the regrets begin
This is the pain
Of being forced to be
The one who you are not
It hurts .
