Outcast

Outcast

A Poem by Jessi Pestana

Who am I, but an outcast?

My cries for help are neglected

This heart aches in agony

My mind is disconnected

My eyes are blind to hope,

If there is hope at all

I lack the strength to hold myself

I break, and crash, and fall

All I want is to be wanted

All I need is love and peace

As I'm deprived I feel

My will to live decrease

If I never find friendship

I'll never find life within me

If God won't send me a friend

Than what reason do I have to be?

Take me from this solitude

Or say farewell to what's left of me

This dirt and debris called my heart

Is sure to soon decease.
