"Ode to a dream"

 Oh girl who smiles with such gleam

You forever haunt me in my dreams

How I long to touch you hold you kiss you

But alas you have no clue

That I hope and yearn

To one day not be burned

By the constant sight

Of you in my sleep always there to ignite

The wonder and joy of you in my arms

 

To grab and to squeeze

Succumbing to this tease

Of you in my body

One to one

Smelling the aroma

The choking sweetness

Of the girl in my dreams

Living the fantasy plagued by fear

The constant torment

 

Tormenting of what was

And what is lost

Having the chance but slipping away

For the girl has moved on

And here I sit

Popping one two three

In hopes of falling into a slumber

And being with my girl yet again
