Shouting a whisper

Shouting a whisper

A Poem by King_king

Can't say a word, don't feel a thing,
My eyes won't blink in colour,
Can't hear the spring birds sing

You can't count with letters,
Can't shout a whisper if you tried,
Can't make me stop feeling
A love that never died

I know 'it' will get better,
'It' may even fade away.
'It' might decide to start afresh
On a brighter day.

Yet, there are no words to fit that 'it'
No rhymes to rhyme with nothing

That express how I felt when you said
You'll feel the 'it' I feel
For someone else instead;
That your love, for me, is dead.

I enjoyed reading this.
I particularly liked the first two stanzas. I think most people can relate to, "Can't make me stop feeling
A love that never died "
