Otherwise Ubiquitous !

Simple Suplication

They were here,

They were there and

They were everywhere,

They have woken up me in the mornings and

Warned me of any visitors arrival,

Strewn everything around

And spoilt the tidy garden too,

They were an asset sometimes

And Nuisance too at times,

But

There are not here, there or anywhere today,

When I needed them the most.

No need to wake me up again or

To warn me of any visitors’ arrival,

Come back again and untidy the garden,

But just take my humble offerings,

At least

On every Saturday mornings.

I like the idea here. The vagueness of "them" is interesting. The problem (well maybe it's a problem) I see is that they sound a bit like slaves,servants, something of that nature. You come of as the Lord or King, Mr. Sasanka. I can also see them being slightly unruley children. Finally Saturday makes me sense some religious aspect. If the reader is not to know then good job.

I am going through a bad spell in life (I am someone believing in planetary effects) and to wade off the bad effects, I was asked to feed birds and especially crows on Saturdays.
Crows are a nuisance on any other day but they stay away on Saturdays.
So, I had to plead to them (through my writing) to come back on Saturdays too and help me get through the painful process of planetary bad spell.
