PROLOGUE:

Heh. You know, I always thought that the government was telling us the truth.  I Also I always thought I was just and average nerd. Just a geek and his computer. All alone.  Always. But recently there’s has been some interesting things going on in my life but we will come back to that a bit later. As for my name, its Nickolai, Nickolai Sven. I was born in st. Petersburg Russia and brought here by my mother back in 2053. I was about 3 then. Or 2 I don’t remember. And where is here you ask? Here is what used to be America. I mean its still America, well, eh barely. I’m 17; I got to James marlin high school just outside of the place known as Uderzhivat city. Heh, more like ADMIN headquarters. I call it that because that’s where the internet monitors for this region reside. Everything you do, say, post, search, download, logon to, is monitored. And in “the age of technology” it’s kind of hard not to use the web. Literally everything is monitored, well at least for everyone else. Every new user to the web is force to agree with a terms of service. And it told us that is we ever do anything outside of internet guidelines we could be charged with treason and executed. They use that to try and control us. Its suppose to be scaring us.  As For what I think? Meh.

Sometimes liking to write is enough but like everything else, it needs to be refined and cultivated. Select an audience. Who are you writing for. Ask yourself, "am I saying something different that will cause people to think or feel?"
