Knowledge Inspires New Greatness

Dear queen;
As we lay here.
I noticed that my heart is free
From doubt, pain and fear.

Being that I'm a man;
That may be hard to understand.
But truth is; you're my mental and spiritual balance..
In the form of a friend.

Usually I'm on alert;
Fearing unexpected hurt.
But through every conversation..
Your eyes show me how faith works.

Even your art,
Speaks to my heart.
My heart paced as I watched you pace
Right before you relaxed to start..

This is only the beginning..
My everything is still in these next parts..
I don't want you to move;
Like the faith in the seat of Rosa Parks.

In other words;
Just sit there and listen to my heart;

On the way to you
I had no clue what I would do.
There's past hurt and heart aches:
That I thought I would never make it through.

I embrace you,
But God is who I go through.
So I know that you're true
Even if it's different paths
Past or present; that we may pursue.

This heart offers more than "equal"
I want your heart and mind to be more than peaceful.
Im offering unconditional;
A constant care for your spiritual, physical and mental.

Thank you for your honesty
And your strong care.
Thank you for being my friend
When it seemed like nobody was there.

I'm leaving bad ways,
In hope to vanish your bad days.
And make happy days
Out of your sad days.

Glad days from mad days.
Cause I know that you've had days..
Deep thinking as the love song plays
Wishing you had someone to vibe with after long days.

Even though I'm this young or this old;
There's always more of this love story to be told.
Titled "A bond between two;
Who together; May grow old"

Our connection don't seem natural
Because I feel it in my spirit.
Your voice has the vocals of a angel
I know that; because I hear it.

Your tone;
So sweet, yet so strong.
And your heart that brings a genuine heart home..
Is the reason for this poem..

I can hear you;
Even as this poem is being read.
Like our conscious thoughts we have
On the back of our heads.

A part of your mind
Is saying let's take our time
But your heart says
Mine..mine..mine.

And that's ok..
Because my heart feels the same way.
Let's count how many different ways we connect
On the same day.

Based on what I'm feelin'
That number will be more than a million.
Cause if we're not kissing
We're apart; thinking that something is missing.

I pray the depth of my thoughts
Don't make me seem crazy.
Cause I feel like God made you;
The same day he made me.

This dream came true;
Through the faith kept after a nightmare.
And even through the bad..
We were both "right there".

My only aim..
Is to make sure your happiness remains.
Love you better; in different ways
But always make you feel the same.

Secure..
Surrounded by a love that's pure.
Never unsure,
Of what this love can endure.

Having the world think "everything" of you..
Will happen regardless.
But to have one person who thinks the world of you.
Will keep you strong when times are the hardest.

I could never write out love's definition;
Without using your description.
The deeper I think and imagine love..
Your face with God's next to it is my vision.

I'm blessed to share your time;
Listen to your mind.
Witness a queen whose so kind..
I know I'm honored just to imagine her being mine..

Love is patient.
But hope of her heart;
Helps my heart never go vacant.
And give her my poetry; hoping she can take it.

Im asking..
How do I appear while facing you?
Do you feel me or is the pour of this heart barely phasing you?
When you're down, is my personality raising you?

Do you know love?
Or do you think I'm just chasing you?
This is a bond I don't want to begin with me "taking you"
Or you "taking me"
This connection is something you be patient through.
And since I'm being so honest boo..
I love you because you're a beautiful queen; yet modest too.
