REDEMPTION

REDEMPTION

A Poem by King Nothing
"

For someone whom I have lost .... forever

"

Lingering in the blue of your aura,

The melodies are suffocating in your absence,

Haunted by the remains of our togetherness,

My soul lies obliterated by your reminiscence.

Dimensions have amplified beyond reckoning,

Overwhelming me beyond my sanity,

Engulfed in the sea of your tears,

The walls spare me no profanity.

The somber reflection in the mirror,

Struggles to unearth a buoyant manifestation,

But disconsolate desertion is all it gets,

And the dead ringer of your … Redemption.

I'm glad to hear about your 'changed' profile name. And I don't think I gave you a very critical review for your last poem, 'Faith Revisited', but then again, I'm nobody to give anybody's work a review. Your prose and usage of vocabulary are very powerful...From this poem, I have gathered that you must have loved this 'person you lost forever' very much, and I'm sure he/she will be very proud of you, wherever they are. But I also think you should try and inculcate more positivity in your life...and your writing. even 27 is no age to give up!
finally, last but not the least, pls don't call me 'Ms.Drizzle....' I feel so old! btw, 'Xya Drizzle' isn't even my name! i just like the sound of it!
