Sleep to dream

 

I laid down for a dream

Sleep came

Then a dream

I dreamt of dreaming

In my sleeping

Dreaming

Of

Dreaming

And waking in fear

First in my dream

And then from my sleep

Sleep to dream

And dream only of

 Sleeping and dreaming

Dreams take you nowhere

 

There is no satisfaction in dreaming but often relief in waking.
