Silence

Silence

A Poem by Kindra JOY

Words seem to carry with them emptiness. A moment that was full in silence becomes dull and empty with the introduction of words. This is because words can never be completely accurate. There are spaces between every word because we’re not sure what to put there. It is when you don’t strive for words that feelings and even thoughts are fully known rather than in the partiality that words present them in. Silence truly is golden.

I appreciate this poem in times like these. I consider sound a noise of its own. And silence is my favorite noise. I am adding this poem to my favorites.
