Chapter 3: Katie

Katie read his reply and laughed. ‘Typical guy’, she thought, ‘Probably some awkward kid who spends too much time online’. She typed a reply. ‘Maybe :) so this help?’ Over the next few hours he had given her half his supplies, not like he needed them though and her city was better than it had been before. They had chatted some more afterwards, just general stuff, films, TV shows, music etc. stuff that made them both realize that they were pretty much alike. It was coming up to midnight and Katie had college in the morning. They were currently talking about which was better, The Walking Dead or Doctor Who, the latter was clearly better, a madman in a box that traveled through time and space, how could zombies compare to that? She sent him a message ‘I've g2g, college tomorrow -.-’. His reply was almost instant. ‘Sucks to be you, I don’t go anymore :P talk tomorrow?’. Katie thought about this and decided she wanted to, she didn't realize how much she liked talking to him, it was nice to just talk about random stuff and have banter without anything being implied. ‘Sure :) why not. Same time?’ She sent it and waited for his reply. It was almost instant, ‘Cool :) talk tomorrow all_knowing (yet not-so-knowing) girl’. Katie smiled and logged off.
