Chapter 2: Gale

Chapter 2: Gale

A Chapter by Kimmi Frost

Gale Walker was 21 when he met her. He was sitting at his computer playing Lord of Ultimo, surrounded by the endless supply of Lucozade. Staring at the computer he was getting bored, he had all of the latest mods and he couldn't build anymore and his city hadn't been attacked in weeks, it was just too powerful. He knew he had a reputation as a bit of a gaming legend on this game, and a few others, but he just had too much time on his hands. People had been sending out messages on the server chat all day asking for help but nobody had caught his attention. It was all mundane stuff that if they thought about it, they could sort themselves. He was about to log off when another shout out for help came out. He read it and decided he would help. The username was the first thing to catch his attention, ‘all_knowing_girl’. ‘Not very all knowing’, he thought to himself with a chuckle. Her message had said that her city was nearly destroyed with no supplies or money. He sent her a message, she sent one back saying thanks and he told her to PM him. She sent one back. ‘So the famous monkey_man wants to help me? Do you like a damsel in distress or something? :P’ he read the message and replied. ‘Nope, bored. But if you are a damsel in distress then that would make me a knight in shiny armor:)’
