I Dipped My Toe in Death

I Dipped My Toe in Death

A Poem by Kimberlee
"

A poem for the anxious

"

I dipped my toe in death,

And little did I know

That death itself had drowned

Inside my pinky toe.

My pinkie,

she had absorbed death,

To my surprise I had found.

It crept inside my skin,

And laid its nest in my chest.

Now, with every little thump,

I feel a little death.
