Missing Him

Missing Him

A Poem by annalysiar
"

A girl is in an unstable relationship, but she thinks he loves him and that he loves her. These are her thoughts

"
Missing him, missing you
if only if only love could be true
I sit here wondering, thinking of you.
Blocking out the world; wishing for us two
living on a dream I know
helpless it seams, if only to rue...
Hopeless wonders dance on my mind,
are my feelings returned from you?
pleading, wondering; can it be true..
Is this a dream or a worthless truth?
I sit here thinking
missing, hoping, pining for you.
Missing him, missing you
hopeless wonder, bargaining truth
missing him missing you
Is this Love's one sided truth?
Tell me, tell me-
Do you love me as I love you?

Ladies and gentlemen out there I hear of a lot of heart ache and broken hearts. Remember you are worth it and special and amazing. No matter what others say.

I really enjoyed this piece. For me it called to my nurturing side, the part of me that looks back on a past love and wonders if he moved on. If he has finally found love, or if what we had ruined him. I grew, I learned and I found love, someone able to love my flaws. Was he so lucky, for awhile I knew it not true, all his relationships were left in piles of rubble...but I think often, pray often, for he deserves a love too.

The wonderful thing that caught my attention is the repeatation of words, that actually made the girl's thoughts more 'Thoughtlike'.
A beautiful poem,no doubt!

I'm really glad you enjoyed it, it means a lot... And you are right love is a double edged sword
just one edit..."is this Love's one sided truth?"

but otherwise...this poem comes right at the reader...and involves us with its constant questioning.

it's only a question so many of us ask time and again...is the love i am feeling coming back at me with the same force as mine is going out for another.
