Story of Grace

Story of Grace

A Poem by annalysiar
"

A nymph who cannot find her song, and is graced with it in the throws of passion

"
Mated within a spring
lonely nymph unable to sing
sitting upon her rock, all through spring
wishing waiting for her song to play
Lost within the innocence of the day,
she sits blindly while he passes her bay
Holding her gaze all the while..
My, she praises. As her world changes
Happiness is grander, brighter...
Sadness is deeper, duller...
Anger is fuller, blinder
and when he comes
the feeling grow strong
Her breath is caught with the wind
his heart is guarded from her mend.
shunning away from her love, merely stating he needs none.
A warrior needs guidance, heart, strength
and she cannot think;
what is this?
confinement? Ache? Bliss?
This ache to her heart isn't something to miss...
Just make it go away, she silently begs.
as he returns the following day
folding her into his embrace,
he admits his folly and embraces his mistakes.
Wrapping her within his pelt, he promises her desire
but she will not melt
he offers his pleasure, which her body could only measure
He delivers his heart
and she knew they would never part
As her song graced his touch,
she filled his kiss, with her voiced bliss...

love and true passion can help us find our voice....the words are there they just need exposure...to be freed from the heart with sound.
