Consuming LoveA Poem by annalysiar
The pieces crumble
reduce to rubble before your eyes. will this become my memory when I die? I hold the pieces as long as I can; praying hoping This is not the fate of man. I watch time unleash her power as we age wither and cower Mother earth reveals her wrath as she baths us in her cast Round and round Faster we go... I cannot seam to stop this flow the images are there- whispering voices are my prayer. However my memory will not flare. tell me, what am I to do? watching the world crumble around me... bathing under the Blood red Moon... make it stop please, make it go Give this fate to another cursed soul. and that's when I see... the one with the burning anger controlling wrath... never ending tears the one with the dangerous heart consuming love- is me. © 2016 annalysiarFeatured Review
