Colored Eyes

For nights now they come to him in his dreams... girls with colored eyes, touching, sobbing, screaming, raging... for what? Only he can say? The sins of the Damned can be erased within the day...

I dreamt a dream
in which you were
long fair hair
grey eyes allure
I feel your touch
you're with me now...
Space beside me-
Begs the how
Your voice. Singing in the wind...
wondering, begging where have you been...
I see you there
Before my eyes
The pain, the tears...
almost confirm my greatest fears.
I dreamt a dream
In which you were
Long fair hair
Blue eyes aware
scorching touch
among my hand
can this be-
The wrath of the Damned?
Screaming verses rage the wind...
I'm almost tempted to wonder:
Is this the end?
I dreamt a dream
In which you were
Long fair hair
Green eyes-there
Boring, gazing, searching ....
you stare...
Warily silent. Statue still
It makes me wonder...
Is vengeance your will?
Lest I feel guilt?
I dreamt a dream
In which you were
Long fair hair
brown eyes beware
piercing, boring -you glare
scathing, scorching, screeching you flare
Beside me you writhe
Beneath me you lie
I almost forget
It was with me you died
Burning vengeance
it makes me sweat
I almost wonder-
If I can regret
The dreams of beauty to not forget
Haunt me yes...the way you do
Let me dream of only you.
Your long fair hair and colored eyes
Will stay with me until I die.
