Hold on tight sweet child 

Everyone told me 

Leave the pain aside and 

Play outside, stop 

Mewling and whining 

Everything is just fine 

Ponder on your every decision and 

Leave the doubt behind 

Everything is alright 

Agony is just your temporary lullaby and a sweet 

Slumber will end the weariness that you feel

Well, BlakHeart, you've written a good piece here. As a child we are told to deal with the pain, it's not that bad, you'll be okay. But they don't feel the pain.
Whether physical or emotional, it is our pain. Good write

Definitely a piece that I can relate to. Everybody tells me it's gonna be okay and to never be sad about anything, just let it go and it makes me angry because, they don't really know how it is for me.
I like this piece. It seems like a subtle mockery of the people around you, but at the same time a casual piece that talks about a general thing in life. Very good wording as well.
